Welcome to Foodie Friday!
Today, I want to share a friend, that I have been a big fan of for a long time she is an expert in the kitchen, local foodie and is a regular guest at several Charlotte TV stations.
Heidi Billotto promotes eating and supporting local farmers and products from the region.
She has been on the food scene since the early 80's and really knows her stuff.
Heidi offers cooking classes to and they are amazing. Read here how I celebrated Julia Child's birthday at one of Heidi's cooking classes. Wanna join Heidi in the kitchen or local farm class? Check out her schedule here.

Here are a few local items that she has checked out recently.
Carolina Kettle Chips out of Raleigh
Clemson's Best Ice Cream
So jump over and give Heidi some love. I promise you it is a delish treat and she will have you at your local farmers market soon.
Thanks for all you do Heidi and keep up the great work of supporting local.
I saw a sign on Highway 3(very rural) for those of you that don't know the area, the sign read "Farmers are important, try eating without them"
Very True!
Go Local Ya'll!
