February 13, 2017 • Create and Craft, girl time, Slime
My daughter is 12 years old and she is currently hooked and addicted to making slime.
Slime is a gooey, slimy mixture of a bunch of ingredients, and it is a blast to play with.
It can get messy and a tad expensive with all the "stuff" it takes to make but, so worth the investment.
Relax and enjoy the process and get creative.
My daughter has started a Instagram account with lots of slime videos and pics.
Follow her here Crazy Fluffy Slime
These are just a few of the slimes she has made.
You can put just about anything in the slime.
Use glitter in your slime and it makes it so sparkly
Sometimes after the container is closed up over night, these bubbles will form and they are fun to pop.
Here is the recipe we use, there are hundreds of ways to make slime. This one works great for use.

Coddle Creek Farms Market-Fresh, Local & Delicious.
February 8, 2017 • Lifestyle
Recently, I checked out the Coddle Creek Farms Market.
The market is located in the adorable gray building you see on
Coddle Creek Highway in Mooresville.
They carry all kinds of goodies and a vast selection of Apple Butter
They also have fresh vegetables, fruits, pimento cheese and milk in stock.
Want some local corn meal or biscuit mix?
Lets make biscuits for dinner.
When was the last time you were able to buy beans by the scoop? Love this concept.
Fresh beans are the best, cooked all day on the stove or crock pot.
Serve beans with those biscuits and dinner is done.
Coddle Creek Farms also carries Muscadine & Scuppernog juice
If you love Honey, this is the best and it is Pure local wildflower honey.
Now, the Peanut Butter is handmade by Mama Young and it is so good.
I bought the regular peanut butter and use on toast for breakfast, it is so smooth and creamy.
They have crunchy, chocolate and creamy.
I sampled the chocolate peanut butter and it was good.
Stop by and see the nice folks at the Coddle Creek Farms Market.
They will be getting in more fresh vegetables and fruits as the seasons change.
I can't wait for tomatoes, watermelons and all those summer crops.
They are located at
2200 Coddle Creek Highway
Mooresville, NC
