I finally got a new computer, can you say "Amen" I sure can, So you should start seeing more of me. Yea You! I needed to free up some space on my phone since I have had not place to put my pictures, they have just been sitting there waiting to be saved.
As I scrolled thru my pictures, all 2382 of them. I felt like I was living my year all over again. I saw some fun times, sad times and even though its not all perfect its my life and for that I am blessed. I don't take myself very serious, and these pics reflect that.

Spring Yard Sale planning
March 23, 2014 • organize, Spring Cleaning
Well the weather has started to change for the better in these parts of NC. This makes me want to Spring clean and have a yard sale. For the past several weeks I have been going thru my house one room at a time and rounding up all toys, clothes that don't fit anymore and basically anything that is cluttering our house.
This yard sale is going to be a multiple family sale with myself and three others so we are tagging each families items in certain colors. We have a great location picked out at the home of one of the families and it sits at a very busy intersection. Hopefully, this will bring lots of traffic.
We are also getting the kid involved as the girls will be selling lemonade and cookies along with some rainbow loom bracelets. They should have fun and make some $$ also.
Here's what I have learned so far on how to have a successful yard sale. Please share any tips that you may have in comments.
Start going thru each room of your house weeks in advance and rid of anything that's just taking up space.
If you are having a sale with other families tag each family in a different color and then it is easy to sort and pay each at days end.
Make signs and use bright ones and make sure print is large and easily readable as car pass them. I think just the words Yard Sale and an arrow are enough. In my town we can put signs out the night before, but that's it. Check your Towns ordinance to see what the rules are. Also make sure you don't have to have a yard sale permit. We do not.
Have fun and enjoy yourself although its a lot of work and at days end you will be worn out, but you will pocket some cash and clean your house at the same time.
I will post an update after out sale and let you know how it went.
Happy Spring Cleaning Ya'll!!

These are the piles in my house that are being added to each day and will soon be put in boxes labeled and ready to sale
Ella and Em set up and ready for customers.
Hometown Player
February 1, 2014 • Football, Hometown
I am sorta a Football fan and sorta not. I love to cheer on my Blue Devils team on Friday nights with all my girlfriends. We all went to Mooresville and it is home to us. But with the Super Bowl coming up on Sunday I will be cheering for the Seahawks for the only reason is JR Sweezy graduated from Mooresville Senior High School, my school, my town and so there you have it. That's all I know is I want a hometown boy to win. So Go Seahawks!!
This is the sign out in front of Mooresville High School.
Happy Football Sunday Ya'll!!

Birthday Canvas
January 26, 2014 • birthday, Crafty
Here are the supplies that you will need to make your own Birthday Canvas.
Artist canvas in whatever size works for you.
Paint colors for canvas.
Paper or painted letter.
Something sparkly for border.
And a pen for the kids to sign canvas with.
Paint pen for lettering.
First I painted the canvas with 2 coats of green.
Next I added the letters and sparkly trim. Then with the paint pen I wrote on the dried canvas. And I glued the letter on the canvas. I put it out at her party and her friends signed it.
I wanna cry!!
January 12, 2014 • blog, Computer
As you can see I haven't posted anything to my blog lately:( the reason being that my beautiful Mac Book Pro had a drink spilled on it. I have had it to the shop and the motherboard is fried! This made me almost cry to the young man who worked on my baby. If you wanna know the truth I did cry in the car after I left the shop. I was able to get my info off the drive but that's about it.
So, until the new computer fairy drops by I am without my access to my blog thru a computer. Hey, you don't think I'm giving up that easy do you?? I have an IPhone and the Blogger App so all is kinda sorta ok, I'm still a train wreck over the "accident" but soon will hopefully get another.
So onward and upward we go, blogging and living and sighing every time I see a Mac Book:(
BTW- I'm not really a rules kinda girl, never have been but new rule.......no drinks at desk!!!!!!
