So tonight I am going to see Bob Seger and I am reallllly excited about this!! I love me some Seger.
Songs like, Night Moves, Main street and Till it Shines is music that takes me way back to my younger days. I mean not that I am old, but it does take me back. I am also just looking forward to a night out. I sure hope I stay awake for it, bedtime for me is 9pm normally.

Update: The Bob Seger show was great. He played a few new songs for his album coming in Aug 2013 but all the other songs were old rock n roll. I danced, I laughed, I cried as an older grey haired Seger took the stage and gave fans a concert maybe even better than when he was much younger. Thanks for a great night and all the music that has filled my life.

So over this past weekend I sampled hummus. I had always turned away from it like it was going to attack me or something, but not this day. It was really good and the pita chips I had it with were perfect. But the weekend ended and I had no idea what type of hummus I had tried.

I head to my Whole Foods store in Davidson and they really gave me the 411, the lowdown on hummus. The one I decided would be perfect, for several reasons is "Roots". This is yummy and it is made right up the street in Asheville, NC. I enjoyed the fact of knowing it is a local company and man is it yummy. They have several different flavors but I went with spinach and it was the perfect choice for me. Check out the website for all the flavors they offer. Enjoy.

For many years all I dream of is opening a space and outlet for all the stuff I make, redo and upcycle. Well as of yesterday I put my money down and placed my bet on a tiny corner of an antique store in Mooresville. The location I chose was built in the late 1800's and it is so pretty, you know wood floors, uneven walls and the smell of 200 year old air. I know my picture of it ain't pretty but it really is a nice place.

I think over the next months I will be very happy there and hope to move into a bigger space but the for now lets take the first step. I have so much to do and really not sure where to start. I have found some great things recently totally by accident and hope after the transformation they are even nicer.
